2026 intake page: your excellence starts now
2026 intake page
(non-EU candidate Students)
The 2026 intake page allows you to participate in the 2026 selection process for admission to the Master’s program in Transportation Engineering and Mobility. The process involves four steps that must be carried out on this MSc website, according to the timeline shown below (scroll or swipe rightmost).
Register as an applicant
Register as an applicant. You will register as a user of this website.
The registration period is from February 23rd to May 23rd. Late registrations after May 23rd are disregarded. Step 1 is the entry point of the application process, and the external visa-issuing UniversItaly web platform plays a role only after the four steps of the MSc application procedure.
You must be able to personally and directly access your e-mail account entered during step 1 of the process, and thus the 2026 intake page of this MSc website. We deprecate applying to our procedure through agencies or third parties.
Warning: the registered e-mail address cannot be changed for any reason. Any change will invalidate all results obtained at any stage of the process.
To complete the registration process, the account must be activated. The activation is evaluated by the Admission Committee, generally within 48 hours.
Registering as an applicant is mandatory for step 2.
Update and complete your user profile
Log in to this MSc website with your activated account (see step 1).
Complete and update your user profile in edit mode on the 2026 intake page from February 23rd to May 23rd (deadline). The user profile contains all the information your application requires. Thus, fill it in carefully. Based on this information, we evaluate whether to select you as a candidate-student for the master’s degree in Transportation Engineering and Mobility. Completing your user profile is mandatory for access to step 3. When completing/updating the profile, ensure red warning messages do not appear anywhere, as they may prevent information from being updated and documents from being uploaded. Also, ensure that the disclaimer and the questions asked in the form are all answered.
Wait for the selection result
We assess your application by reviewing the information and documents uploaded to your user profile (see step 2). We communicate the output of the selection process in successive waves. Within each wave, applications received up to ten days before the deadline are processed. The assessment output could be the application’s selection, refusal, or deferral at the successive wave. If deferred, the application is still considered for the 2026 intake; however, it requires a deeper evaluation and should be regarded as borderline (and uncertain). The output is communicated by email.
| Wave | Results communication deadline |
| 1 | 10 March 2025 |
| 2 | 31 May 2025 |
| 3 | 21 April 2025 |
| 4 | 12 May 2025 |
| 5 | 26 May 2025 |
Step 3 is mandatory for step 4.
Start the application for visa and ask for the pre-admission (offer) letter
The e-mail you receive in step 3 requires your action. If your application is accepted, you are asked to request the pre-admission (offer) letter to be issued:
- Come back to your profile web form on the 2026 intake page
- Fill in the statement that only the pre-admission letter from the University of Naples will be considered. Any other offer letter from Italian universities will be disregarded, and the visa-issuing process will begin only for admission to the University of Naples. Take this statement very seriously, as failure to do so can have serious consequences.
- Register on the external UniversItaly web platform to start the visa request. Use the same e-mail you entered as your reference e-mail in step 1; otherwise, we cannot associate your offer letter with your visa request, and serious problems result. Note that you have stated you’ll apply exclusively for a visa to join the University of Naples Federico II. Note of the UniversItaly registration number (demand ID). The deadline for applying on the UniversItaly platform is May 31st 2026.
- Return to your profile web form on the 2026 intake page, enter the UniversItaly registration number (demand ID), request the pre-admission (offer) letter, wait for it to be available, and upload it to the UniversItaly web platform.
Steps 1 to 3 should be completed before any application to the visa-issuing web platform (UniversItaly). They are intended to pre-evaluate all application documents and assess the admission prerequisites. In step 4, registration on the external UniversItaly web platform is required to initiate the visa request, which is a prerequisite for obtaining the offer letter. The pre-admission (offer) letter is issued during step 4. Applicants who apply directly for a visa via direct registration on the UniversItaly web platform will be asked to register on this MSc website to complete steps 1-4, as these are prerequisites for the visa process.
In addition to the enrollment roadmap given on this page, it is suggested to look at the Admission web page for further details. Consider that the master’s degree in Transportation Engineering And Mobilty requires a solid mathematical background, without which the educational experience can be quite frustrating.
