2025 intake page: your excellence starts now

2025 intake page
(non-EU candidate Students)

The 2025 intake page allows you to participate in the 2025 selection process for admission to the Master’s program in Transportation Engineering and Mobility. The process involves four steps, which must be carried out on this MSc website. Steps 1 to 3 should be completed before any application to the visa-issuing web platform (UniversItaly); they are aimed to pre-evaluate all the application documents and assess the prerequisites for admission. In step 4, registration to the external UniversItaly web platform is needed to start the visa request, which is a pre-condition to obtaining the offer letter. The pre-admission (offer) letter is issued during step 4. Applicants who apply directly for visa-issuing with a direct registration on the UniversItaly web platform will be asked to register on this MSc website to complete steps 1 to 4, a prerequisite for the visa process.

The enrollment roadmap is given below. For full details, see the Admission web page as well. Consider that the master’s degree in Transportation Engineering And Mobilty requires a solid mathematical background, without which the educational experience can be quite frustrating.

Step 01

Register as an applicant

Register as an applicant. You will register as a user of this website.
The registration period is from February 23rd to June 13th. Late registrations after June 13th are disregarded. Step 1 is the entry point of the application process, and the external visa-issuing UniversItaly web platform plays a role only after the four steps of the MSc application procedure.
You must be able to personally and directly access your e-mail account entered during the step 1 process and thus the 2025 intake page of this MSc website. We deprecate applying to our procedure through agencies or third parties.
Warning: the registered e-mail address cannot be changed for any reason. Any change will invalidate all results obtained at any stage of the process.
To complete the registration process, the account must be activated. The activation link is sent by e-mail (check the spam folder and wait for up to 6 hours).
Registering as an applicant is mandatory for step 2.

Step 02

Update and complete your user profile

Login to this MSc website with your activated account (see step 1).
Complete and update
your user profile in edit mode on the 2025 intake page from February 23rd to June 13th (deadline). The user profile contains all the information required for your application; thus, fill in it carefully. Based on this information, we select you as a candidate student for the master’s degree in Transportation Engineering and Mobility. Completing your user profile is mandatory for access to step 3. When completing/updating the profile, ensure red warning messages do not appear anywhere, as they may prevent information from being updated and documents from being uploaded. Also, ensure that the disclaimer and the questions asked in the form are all answered.

Step 03

Wait for the selection result

We assess your application by reviewing the information and documents uploaded on your user profile (see step 2). We communicate the output of the selection process in successive waves. Within each wave, applications received up to ten days before the deadline are processed. The assessment output could be the application’s selection, refusal, or deferring at the successive wave. If deferred, the application is still considered for the 2025 intake; however, it requires a deeper evaluation and should be regarded as borderline (and uncertain). The output is communicated by e-mail.

Wave Results communication deadline
1 10 March 2025
2 31 May 2025
3 21 April 2025
4 12 May 2025
5 2 June 2025
6 23 June 2025

Step 3 is mandatory for step 4.

Step 04

Start the application for visa and ask for the pre-admission (offer) letter

The e-mail you receive in step 3 requires your action. If your application is selected, you are asked to request the pre-admission (offer) letter to be issued. Do do that:

  • Come back to your profile web form on the 2025 intake page
  • Fill in the statement that only the pre-admission letter from the University of Naples will be considered. Any other offering letter from Italian universities will be disregarded, and the visa-issuing process will start only to join the University of Naples. Take this statement very seriously, as failure to do so can have serious consequences.
  • Register on the external UniversItaly web platform to start the visa request. Use the same e-mail you entered as your reference e-mail in step 1; otherwise, we cannot associate your offer letter with your visa request. Note that you have stated you’ll apply for a visa to join exclusively the University of Naples Federico II. Take note of the UniversItaly registration number (demand ID).
  • Come back to your profile web form on the 2025 intake page, enter the UniversItaly registration number (demand ID), ask for the pre-admission (offer) letter to be issued, wait until it is available, and upload it on the UniversItaly web platform.
