Agreement with CIMEA for easier enrolling at the University of Naples
Thanks to the agreement with CIMEA, enrolling at the International Courses of the University of Naples Federico II is now easier.
To support international students during their admission and enrolment in our degree programs, the University of Naples Federico II signed an Agreement with CIMEA – Information Centre on Academic Mobility and Equivalence for the issuing of the Statement of Comparability and the Statement of Verification of Foreign Qualifications.
The Statement of Comparability contains general information related to a foreign university qualification, such as the recognition/accreditation status of the non-Italian University that has issued a bachelor’s or a master’s degree. It also states the level of the qualification according to the Bologna Process and the European Qualifications Framework.
The Statement of Verification certifies a foreign institution’s bona fide granting of academic or secondary school diplomas. The Statement of Comparability and the Statement of Verification are managed within the Diplome Platform, entirely in English. With the Diplome Platform, CIMEA issues its Statements of Comparability on a blockchain, thus allowing degree holders to share their qualifications with any institution in the world in a simple, secure, and certified manner.
The University of Naples Federico II also accepts the Statement of Comparability and the Statement of Verification by CIMEA for enrolment purposes. Therefore, in place of the Declaration of Value, candidate International Students can provide both the Statement of Comparability and the Statement of Verification for visa and enrolment purposes.
Students applying for the Statement of Comparability and Verification can create their account directly through the dedicated Diplome portal (https://cimea.diplo-me.eu/unina/#/auth/login). Applicants from countries signatories of the Lisbon Recognition Convention (https://www.enic-naric.net/) can download the Statement of Correspondence from a free web-based tool called ARDI, Automatic Recognition Database – Italy. Warning! The ARDI correspondence statement replaces the Statement of Comparability only. The
ARDI database is available at the link https://ardi.cimea.it/en.
